Terms of Service

The marketplace rules for applicants, employers, individual recruiters, and visitors.

Last updated: 26 May 2026

These pages are product-ready policy drafts for JobRadarNG operations. They should be reviewed by Nigerian counsel before paid launch, enterprise sales, or large-scale processing.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of JobRadarNG. By creating an account, posting a job, applying for a role, browsing listings, or using any dashboard, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you use JobRadarNG on behalf of a company, agency, household, or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly update material changes. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it resulted from JobRadarNG's failure to apply reasonable security measures.

JobRadarNG supports applicants, company employers, individual recruiters, and visitors across shared JobRadarNG and TrustHireNG account access where enabled.

3. Marketplace role and user responsibility

JobRadarNG is an intermediary recruitment marketplace. It provides technology, discovery, moderation, verification signals, communication tools, and job-aggregation workflows, but it is not the employer, recruiter, hiring agent, guarantor, or background-check provider for listings unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

Employers, companies, organisations, and individual recruiters are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, fairness, and currency of their job listings, application instructions, pay information, hiring communications, and recruitment decisions.

Applicants should independently verify opportunities before sharing sensitive information, attending interviews, making travel arrangements, accepting offers, or taking any action outside the platform. Applicants must never pay unofficial recruitment fees or advance payments for a job opportunity.

JobRadarNG does not guarantee employment, interviews, salary offers, employer responses, immigration outcomes, background-check results, or the suitability, legitimacy, or performance of any applicant, employer, recruiter, or opportunity.

4. Applicant rules

Applicants must provide truthful application information and should not submit CVs, credentials, or identity documents that are false, misleading, or owned by another person without permission.

Applicants are not required to complete KYC to search, save, or apply for jobs unless a specific high-risk safety review legally requires extra checks.

5. Employer and individual recruiter rules

Employers and recruiters must post lawful, accurate, non-discriminatory, and professional listings. Job listings must include a real role, reasonable application instructions, and truthful compensation or compensation-range information where provided.

Individual recruiters must complete identity verification before listings can go live. Companies and organisations must complete business verification and authorised representative identity verification.

Individual recruiters may post household, personal-assistant, hospitality, retail, event-staffing, domestic, driver, chef, nanny, and other legitimate hiring opportunities. They must not misrepresent themselves as a registered company where no company exists.

JobRadarNG may impose posting limits, verification checks, identity review, manual moderation, subscription requirements, or promotion controls for safety and marketplace quality.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

You cannot post scams, fake jobs, advance-fee schemes, unlawful recruitment fees, impersonation, misleading salary claims, adult exploitation, harassment, discriminatory content, illegal work, unsafe work, malware links, spam, or listings that violate applicable labour, privacy, consumer-protection, or anti-fraud laws.

You cannot scrape, reverse engineer, overload, bypass access controls, harvest user data, sell applicant data, or use JobRadarNG to build competing datasets except where a written agreement expressly permits it.

Fraudulent users, fake employers, scam recruiters, impersonators, and users who abuse applicant data will be banned, suspended, restricted, reported to relevant authorities where appropriate, and blocked from reposting through related accounts or entities.

7. Moderation and trust systems

JobRadarNG may use AI, automation, user reports, and human review to classify jobs, detect duplicates, score fraud risk, moderate listings, suspend accounts, reject content, remove listings, or restrict access.

Trust badges, verification labels, scam scores, and AI summaries are platform signals, not guarantees. Users should still exercise judgment before sharing sensitive information, paying money, attending interviews, or accepting offers.

8. Applications and hiring decisions

Employers and recruiters are responsible for evaluating applicants, communicating decisions, complying with applicable hiring laws, and protecting applicant data they receive.

JobRadarNG may facilitate applications, saved jobs, analytics, recommendations, alerts, and application tracking, but it is not the employer of record unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

9. Aggregated jobs and approved sources

JobRadarNG aggregates jobs only from approved sources such as official company career pages, RSS feeds, employer submissions, partner feeds, lawful APIs, and sources where access is permitted. Aggregated listings remain subject to moderation before publication.

JobRadarNG will not intentionally scrape or import from platforms that prohibit scraping, automated extraction, or reuse unless lawful API access, partnership access, or written permission exists.

JobRadarNG does not claim ownership of third-party job listings imported from approved sources. If you own a listing and believe it should be corrected, credited differently, or removed, contact JobRadarNG with enough information to identify the listing.

10. Payments and subscriptions

Paid features may include featured jobs, sponsored listings, employer subscriptions, premium recruiter accounts, premium applicant features, and advertisements. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms should be shown at checkout or in the subscription dashboard.

JobRadarNG may change pricing or feature packaging prospectively. Taxes, payment-provider fees, chargebacks, and failed payments may be handled according to provider rules and applicable law.

11. Intellectual property

JobRadarNG owns or licenses the platform, design, software, brand, workflows, and marketplace infrastructure. Users retain rights to their own CVs, job content, logos, and submitted materials, subject to the licence needed for JobRadarNG to operate, display, moderate, process, and improve the service.

Do not use JobRadarNG branding, screenshots, datasets, or content in a misleading way or without permission where permission is required.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

JobRadarNG is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We aim for a safe, professional marketplace, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect AI output, every employer's legitimacy, every applicant's accuracy, or a particular hiring result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobRadarNG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are designed for a Nigerian recruitment marketplace and should be interpreted under applicable Nigerian law unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Before filing a formal dispute, users should first contact JobRadarNG so the issue can be investigated and resolved where possible.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as JobRadarNG evolves. Material changes should be communicated through the platform or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated terms.

Questions or requests about privacy, safety, or account access can be sent to privacy@jobradarng.com. Replace this address with your verified operational inbox before public launch if another contact is preferred.
